DESCRIPTION
Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves of melaleuca alternifolia, native to the northeast coast of Australia. It is a clear to pale golden hydrophobic essential oil and has a fresh camphoraceous odor. Owing to its wonderful healing properties, it is used as an antiseptic and antifungal and antibacterial.

It is easily mix with cinnamon, clary sage, clove, geranium, lemon, lavender, nutmeg, myrrh, rosewood, rosemary and thyme.
CONSTITUENTS
The main chemical components of this oil are a-pinene, b-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, a-phellandrene, a-terpinene, limonene, 1,8-cineole, y-terpinene, p-cymene, terpinolene, linalool, terpinen-4-ol and a-terpineol.
USES
This essential oil is widely renowned for its medicinal properties and helps with influenza, cold sores, catarrh, glandular fever and gingivitis. In addition to wonderful anti-infectious properties, it is also highly effective to help clear bronchial congestion, coughs, asthma, sinusitis, whooping cough and tuberculosis.
