DESCRIPTION
Elemi essential oil has a very fresh, citrusy, peppery and spicy aroma. The oil belongs to the same botanical family (Burseraceae) as frankincense & myrrh and is distilled from the gum of a tree originating in Philippines. Traditionally, it has been included in celebrated healing ointments like baume paralytique.

Terpineol, elemicine, elemol, dipentene, phellandrene and limonene.
USES
It is extensively used for soothing muscle pain concerned with exercise. It is also used for the treatment of Bronchitis, catarrh, extreme coughing, mature skin, scars, stress, wounds.
