DESCRIPTION
Citrus oils are chemical compounds that includes the flavour and aroma of the fruit in a concentrated form. Such aromatic substances are seldom real oils. The term 'oil' is used because the first essences produced by same process resembled oil in composition. Citrus oil covers the citrus tree family, where the oil is generally extracted through using cold press (similar as olive oil) to develop the essential oil.
CONSTITUENTS
The main constituents of Citrus Oil are non popular terpenes and sesquiterpenes with limonene contributing to the lion's share. Limonene, the major constituents are involved are about 60%(lemon) & 95% ( orange) depending on the citrus variety and geographic origin.
BLENDS WITH
It easily blends with coniferous oils, several spice oils, and with other citrus oils. Also Neroli, Patchouli, Lavender, Atlas Cedarwood and Peppermint.
USES
It has various medicinal uses as it have various properties like anti-anemic, antimicrobial, anti-rheumatic, anti-sclerotic, antiseptic, bactericidal and carminative.
