DESCRIPTION
This essential oil is extracted from the leaves of Cypress plant. It is widely known for its remedial properties and is beneficial in conditions of excess fluid, such as bleeding, nosebleeds, heavy menstruation, heavy perspiration, cough and bronchitis, hemorrhages and fluid retention.

COMMON NAMES
Italian or Mediterranean cypress.

BLENDS WITH:
This oil blends well with bergamot, clary sage, lavender, juniper, pine, marjoram, sandalwood, rosemary, frankincense and all the citrus oils.

CONSTITUENTS
It constitutes a-pinene, camphene, sabinene, b-pinene, d-3carene, myrcene, a-terpinene, terpinolene, linalool, bornyl acetate, cedrol and cadinene.

USES
Used in aroma therapy, this essential oil has a calming and soothing effect on irritable, angry and stressed-out person. It is also beneficial as a vasoconstrictor on varicose veins and hemorrhoids.
