Hexane solvent extraction can be applied in isolation or it can be used along with the oil press or expeller method. Then, the remaining pulp can be blended with cyclo-hexane to extract the left oil content. The oil dissolves in the cyclohexane, and the pulp is obtained through filtering it out from the solution. This oil and cyclohexane are separated through using distillation method.
