DESCRIPTION
This essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the fresh, partly dried and wholly dried citronella grass. It is a type of grass that is found in tropical zones around the world. It has a woody, sweet fragrance and widely used in perfumes. They are organically cultivated and are “Indian Organic Certified”.

It blends well with bergamot, geranium, lemon, orange, lavender and pine.
CONSTITUENTS
The main components of citronella oil are citronellic acid, borneol, citronellol, geraniol, nerol, citral, citronellal, camphene, dipentene and limonene.
USES
Owing to its sweet fragrance, it is extensively used in perfumes for thousands of years. It is used for various therapeutic purposes and helps to relieves migraines, fatigue, headaches and helps with neuralgia. It also has several other uses such as it reduces excessive perspiration, acts as an insect repellent and helps with oily skin.
